C90D — 90° Battery Adapter PCB

The C90D is a mechanical and electrical adapter between the main battery connector and the CBC assembly. It changes the battery connector orientation by 90° to suit the motor-arm packaging while carrying the full propulsion power path.

What It Does

  1. Battery-side interface — mates with the main battery connector (ACES 59626)
  2. CBC-side interface — right-angle power connection into the CBC assembly via OT-201-M8 screw terminals
  3. High-current path — carries the Hobbywing X15 drive current (150 A design target, pending detailed validation)
  4. Battery CAN passthrough — dedicated CAN connector (JST GH series)
  5. Mechanical support — mounting holes secure the adapter and connector assembly

Design Notes

Because the board is a pure power/signal passthrough, the design work is dominated by physical constraints: copper weight, current path geometry, connector ratings, thermal rise, and mechanical assembly — all checked against the 150 A target.
